As a graphic designer, every piece of artwork should deliver stronger message with a lot of aesthetic. 7

Stronger message and a lot of aesthetic means a lot of more interesting. And a lot more interesting means a lot of interaction with the artwork which is not just see & read, but act with it!

The biggest challenge to make art for me is taking a risk. Because every piece of art are not made of absolute theoretical formula but its all made and born to change, evolve and break the rules.

A newsletter is a cost-effective marketing tool for building regular communication with customers and prospects. To be successful, your newsletter must offer readers content that is useful and easy to digest. The main function of newsletter are regular communication, updates, capability, relationships, and customer insights. Xplore newsletter is a one of my typography courses project which tells a story about travel guide in tokyo, japan. The content consist of what are the cultural events going in the city, preparation before going to travel, culinary in the city, places, etc. Minimalistic approach makes it a lot more easier to read, clean looking, and more interesting look.

pet station leaflet Leaflet is a printed sheet of paper, sometimes folded, containing information or advertising and usually distributed free. A leaflet can be circulated through the audience or inserted over a newspaper. Not only this, leaflet can also be placed where people most bound take a look at in examples: lobby receptionist, directory area, table in restaurant, and so on. This is one of my typography project which is the making of pet station leaflet. The content should fit about the profile and products which we have to communicate with the leaflet as fast and easy with the help of typography.

Stationery includes materials to be written on by hand (e.g., letter paper) or by equipment such as computer printers. Johanes stationery is a one of typography project which we had to make our own beautiful branding stationery. The first step that I do is to make the logotype of my own branding, after that I have to apply the logotype to my own stationery such as letterhead, envelopes, and name card for the basics.

urban living magazine Urban Living Magazine is a travel & lifestyle magazine which is very challenging because our lecturers free ourselves to experiment the design itself, which is more difficult than redesigning magazine. Magazine Designing is the process to make an appearance and being able to make the design from its cover, layout, images, color, etc. Reading a great magazine is the most satisfying moment in our life, from what I meant “satisfying” is to be able read as easy as you can. A tidy layout, clean typeface, high quality images, good paper material, etc.

simile ads This technique is useful to communicate complex or abstract ideas. And to communicate any idea quickly and vividly. A simile is a figure of speech that uses "like" or "as" to compare two different things in a way that creates a more vivid expression. For examples, my advertising showcase about visual simile of Coca Cola company: the key message that I wanted audience to achieve is “Play It With Coke”. I want the audience to think that coke is about sharingness and having fun with other people. It is like we always wanted to share the coke, interact with more people and have fun with each other. Just like basketball, we always need two hoops to set the game on!

truism ads Truism a truth that does not have to be a fact based on statistics, Truism tells about everything about its character (who, what, why). We can present it with any type of situation but above all it must be true at least in general. It also should be difficult to argue to make the message more power. For examples, my advertising showcase about visual truism of Sambal ABC: the key message that I wanted audience to achieve is “Makin Merah Makin Pedas” and “Hati-Hati Terbakar”. When audience try to think and taste Sambal ABC product, the truth about this product has so many for example: It is very spicy product with its “extra pedas”, the spiciness gives you feel like your tongue burning in fire, when you try to eat it even more you will immediately need something to let down the fire.

A.M.A.N social campaign Aliansi Masyarakat Adat Nusantara (AMAN) is an independent community organization with a vision to create a just and prosperous life for all Indigenous Peoples in Indonesia. AMAN works locally, nationally and internationally to represent and advocate for Indigenous Peoples issues. For me what I learned social campaign is a way to communicate important messages to certain people with a purpose. For example, dayak culture is one of Indonesian amazing culture which ironically not so many people appreciate the beauty of it. The idea of this project is to promote the dayak culture to the next level, let the people see the beauty of dayak. Giving such as education, contest with rewards, merchandise to support the culture to the targeted people, and so on.

bca cinemagraph Cinemagraphs are still photographs in which a minor and repeated movement occurs, forming a video clip. They are published as an animated GIF or in other video formats, and can give the illusion that the viewer is watching an animation. [Wikipedia] This is my first showcase on internship program at Mezaic which is to make a cinemagraph for Bank Central Asia (BCA)’s Facebook. It was a tough job and long hardwork which we had to make the paper house and retouch the original photographs after it finished. Me and my partner made the paper house and retouch photo to make it more beautiful and the animation were made by our animator at the office.

gts calendar Germantara Tooling Service (GTS) Indonesia was first established in 1986, and specializing in high precision tools & advanced workshop equipment. This company is a distributor of worldwide known brands, in which some of them are being distribute only by them as a sole agent. Their customers are varied from private companies to government companies. This is the final approach of 2017 calendar project for Germantara Tooling Service (GTS) which me and my partner made.

marqissa restaurant menu Menu is the list of dishes that available in the restaurant and it is one of the most important things in a restaurant, especially the beauty of graphics in a menu. This showcase that I made this is one of the best cases I've ever made in the internship because I really enjoy the beautiness of it from the layout, color, typography, and so forth. It is definitely my personal favorite artwork in 2016. Marqissa has two variants cuisines with complete courses whether it is indonesian cuisines such as satay, nasi goreng, etc. or western cuisines for steak, wines, alcoholic beverages, etc.

Photography is one of my favorite hobby to do when I have a spare time with my friends or family. I love to capture things that I really love such as: places, peoples

nature, texture, and other experimental things. All photos are taken with iPhone 7 and edited with third-party app such as VSCO, Snapseed, etc.
