A DESERT RETREAT WITH A DIFFERENCE We are gathering under the vast skies and red earth of the outback to ask ourselves what can we do better together that we can't do alone. The desert serves as a blank canvas to reframe our thinking and find clarity in our joint purpose. Now more than ever, we need to strengthen the #bthechange community and ensure the prosperity of our businesses as well as the new economy we are creating. Don't miss 3 days of movement making in the calming and spectacular central Australian desert.

WEDNESDAY 3 MAY GET LOCAL
Our day of field trips is an opportunity to get to know the local landscape and visit businesses and projects that are having a positive impact in Alice Springs. You and your families are invited to participate in the field trips that will take place throughout the day. The field trip options will be released in March. The evening will see us welcomed to the Retreat by a Welcome to Country ceremony and keynote address by B Lab Co-Founder Bart Houlahan.

Get to know the local community through a range of field trips available throughout the day. Families welcome. Field trip options to be released in March.

Welcome address. Keynote address: B Lab Co-Founder Bart Houlahan gives an overview on the growth of the B Corp community globally and why being a B Corp is more important than ever. Welcome to country ceremony.

THURSDAY 4 MAY LET'S DO MORE TOGETHER
Our full Retreat day at Alice Springs Desert Park is an opportunity to ask ourselves how our community can continue to prosper whilst creating the new economy. The day will start with a global overview of the B Corp community from our global partners before we delve into a day of facilitated workshops designed to get us thinking, throwing around ideas and reflecting on how to enable purpose-driven businesses to thrive, navigate through the new economy and strengthen global and local partnerships. The day will end with a gala dinner at the beautiful Earth Sanctuary.

B Corps in Australia and New Zealand - Where are we now? Let's do this! Outline of the day's workshop activities.

10:15am-12.15pm Ideas LAB breakout session
What can we do as a community to ensure our businesses are prospering? How do we: Enable purpose-driven businesses to thrive? Navigate through the new economy? Strengthen global and local partnerships? *We will break into groups of approx. 15 people with a facilitator.

Join us for a wonderful lunch and pick up some goodies at the B Corp marketplace.

1:30pm-3.30pm Ideas LAB breakout session 2
Which idea should I/we take forward? We come together in small groups to discuss which ideas we'd like to take to our community.

3:30pm-5pm Pitchfest
Presentations of ideas to the community. What can we do together that we can't do alone? Vote on which idea your company wants to take action on.

5pm-6pm Travel back 6.15pm Dinner 10:30pm Nightcap
Travel back to hotel and time to prepare for our celebratory dinner. Join us for dinner under the stars at the beautiful Earth Sanctuary. Partners welcome. (Please note a separate ticket will be required) Enjoy a relaxed drink and Aspen-style reading back at the hotel.
The final morning of the Retreat is our opportunity to take action. After a day of big thinking and discussion, now is the time to make a choice on which idea you wish to champion. Join a collaborative team to take your favourite idea forward. The Retreat will end in the morning with a closing and gratitude ceremony.
