Frobbit! response to Registrars RFP March 2013 Frobbit! Thanks Registrars.se for issuing a RFP and hence give their members a possibility to give input to what the Board shall both work with and discuss with .SE Frobbit! Support the Board to work for SE Direkt to turn into the registrar of last resort that Registrars belive it shall act as. To make that happen it´s correct that domains need to move out from SE Direkt and find a home at any other Registrar. Though, the problem is not to technically transfer a domain out from SE Direkt. The procedure to follow is the same as for any other Registrar or top level domain. And furthermore the authorizationcode is close to always working. To inform the holder on how to get the authorizationcode is not a problem either. It should though be noted that SE Direct has a high number of incorrect mail adresses which may make the procedure take somewhat longer. The problem is that a huge portion of the Swedish market don´t understand that SE Direkt is a Registrar acting on the same conditions as all other Registrars. They still believe the situation is the same as when there was no Registrars and all domains was held by .SE or it´s predecessor NIC-SE. Frobbit! Therefore advice the Board to focus on the main problem that the market don´t believe SE Direkt is a Registrar acting on the same conditions as all the other Registrars. Frobbit! is strongly disagreeing that the problem is solved by introducing more technique, to an unknown cost for the Registrar.
