Offering unique South Bank riverfront exclusivity, River Quay Fish is the perfect location for events all year round. Surrounded by the beauty of Brisbane’s South Bank Parklands and breathtaking views of the city skyline, we can accommodate functions for both seated and cocktail style events from 20 through to 180 guests in our waterfront venue. Our award-winning head chef has crafted delicious menu offerings to suit all tastes, to impress your guests and ensure your event is a success. Choose from our mouth-watering selections, from canapés to sit down meals and buffets, or allow us to tailor an individual package to suit the occasion. Functions Capacity Minimum spends apply to functions held at River Quay Fish, and are dependant on the day of the week chosen and the time of year. Our venue has furniture to accommodate up to 50 guests – please note that larger events may require the hire of furniture, fencing and security for an additional fee.

Beverages At River Quay Fish our beverages are charged on a by-consumption basis – we are unable to offer BYO or set-price packages. For larger groups and stand up functions, we recommend choosing a selection of popular beverages in advance, such as beer, wine and sparkling, to ensure smooth service. Spirits, cocktails, liqueurs and other beverages can also be offered to guests at your discretion.

Cakeage We have a pastry chef available for your cake requirements should you prefer us to supply a cake with your function, or alternatively cakeage is an additional $5 per person should you prefer to supply your own dessert or cake

TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Deposit: To secure your function at River Quay Fish, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required within 7 days of making your booking. This amount will be deducted from your final bill at the conclusion of your event. 2. Cancellations: If an event is cancelled at any stage prior to the function date, the $500 deposit will be retained by River Quay Fish. If the event is cancelled within 7 days of the event, further charges may apply for perishable items that have been ordered for your event. 3. Minimum Spend: Functions booked at River Quay Fish will incur a minimum spend, which will be the minimum amount charged for your function. 4. Payment: Unless pre-arranged, all events require full payment 7 days prior to the conclusion of the event. 5. Public Holiday Surcharge: A surcharge of 15% applies to any event held on a public holiday. 6. Food and Beverage Selections: These are to be made no less than 7 days prior to event. 7. Final numbers: We require final numbers 1 week prior to the function / event. Once numbers have been confirmed, this will be the amount of guests you will be charged for on the day. 8. RSA: River Quay Fish practices responsible service of alcohol at all times and reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who behaves in an intoxicated manner or whom are disorderly. 9. Cleaning Surcharge: A cleaning charge of $250 will apply if any additional post-cleaning is required over and above what is provided by our regular contractors. 10. Damages: Any damage to River Quay Fish property made by guests, clients or contractors is the responsibility of the function organiser (whose name is affiliated with the function). 11. Weather: Due to River Quay Fish being a venue that can be affected by the weather, we cannot guarantee the impact that the weather may have on your event and accept no liability. 12. Noise: We are an outdoor venue and must be considerate of our neighbours. We must keep the amplified music to a level that is acceptable to the surrounding residents. We do reserve the right to reduce the level of volume during an event should it adversely affect our neighbours. 13. Equipment hire: We can assist the organising of any extra hire equipment or furniture you may require for your event. Any loss or damage of this equipment is at the cost of the client and will be charged at the conclusion of the event. 14. Storage: Due to our limited space at River Quay Fish, we cannot store any additional equipment for your event. Therefore all equipment must be delivered on the day of the event and picked up at the conclusion of the event. We hold no responsibility of any items left behind by the client. 15. Dietary Requirements: Our kitchen and the equipment used within it may contain traces of nuts, dairy and gluten. We ensure extra care is taken to contain these items, but we cannot guarantee that dietary requirements are met and accept no liability.
