Fund Development Coordinator Giving and Development - Foundation Internal/External Job Competition - #11-17

Our Giving and Fund Development - Foundation team reaches the fundraising goals and objectives of Family Services of Greater Vancouver.
Position Profile/Key Responsibilities Under the direction of the Director, Giving and Fund Development, the Fund Coordinator will provide the Director and Board with administrative support, deliver gift processing and database services, and support the general donor development activities of the Foundation. As a member of the Fund Development Foundation team, the Fund Coordinator will:
Undertake all aspects of donation processing and tracking, including data entry, tax receipting, reports, and related donor communications
Maintain Raiser’s Edge database and produce reports & queries as requested
Coordinate and deliver all mail appeals
Provide assistance with special events and special projects
Coordinate administration, communications, and reporting for a bursary program
Organize board meeting logistics, schedules and member attendance using a combination of project management software and traditional communication platforms
Provide technical support in the preparation of materials and presentations

Job Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Understanding of fundraising and donor financial management principles and applications Strong Microsoft Office skills Intermediate knowledge and experience with Raiser's Edge fundraising software, including gift processing and reports Excellent writing and editing skills Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills A systems thinker with strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task and work under shifting priorities and deadlines
Education / Experience
Degree or diploma in business administration or not-for-profit program preferred Or, post secondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution
Other Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years experience in community organization administration and fundraising Minimum 2 years experience working with Raiser’s Edge donor management software Combination of education and experience will be considered
