GBV Field Working Group – Za’atari Thursday, March 13th 2014 @ 11:30 – UNHCR Meeting Room Za’atari Minutes Chair: IRC Participants: IRC, UNFPA, UNHCR, NRC, UN-Women, IMC. 

Developing the 2014 TOR and Work Plan: Introduction, background, vision, objective and main activities drafted. Structure to be further discussed and finalized. Work-plan to be developed at the next working group and in conjunction with TOR endorsement. Action Point: IRC to amend TOR based on panel discussion. IRC to share drafted TOR with GBV and CP members for further inputs, comments and revisions. Members to submit their comments, inputs and revisions to IRC and SC before the next working group. IRC and SC to review CP/GBV structure.



AOB:  Safety audit: presentations ongoing. Up to date safety audit presented at Camp Management, District 8, Community Mobilization WG and WASH. WASH endorsed findings. WASH developing an action plan to address gaps.  GBV/CP: Cross-cutting issues especially for children survivors of GBV require improve integration between GBV/CP members. Action point: every 5th week GBV/CP-WG all members meeting. IRC and SC to confirm date of all GBV/CP members meeting (Thursday 27th?)  Identification, response and disclosure: weak knowledge and awareness on GBV, the referral pathways and SOPs amongst the refugees and field level staff, and weak connection across case-workers limits potential for effective and timely identification and response of GBV survivors. Action Point: GBV-WG to map out stakeholders and start planning field-based trainings. UNHCR and UNFPA to share district and field level stakeholders.
