SUMMER CAMPS 2017 Genesee Career Institute (GCI) Summer Camps offer three unique day camps for students in grades 58. Camp themes include Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) for girls; digital photography and photo editing; and an introduction to agriculture, food, and natural resources topics. Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Cost is $60 per camp, and includes breakfast and lunch.

Participants will explore digital photography and the software used to edit photos. The camp will include opportunities to capture indoor and outdoor images, along with a traditional historical review and exploration of the high tech software used to craft final digital prints. Girls will be building, playing games, and solving problems during our time together. They will complete STEM projects that show how fun math can be when used to build, discover, and analyze. Students will be introduced to agriculture, food, and natural resources topics. They will learn about growing their own food at home, as well as testing water quality & soil conditions, and caring for animals. Session Name Get Agcited!

Camp Location: All camps will be held at the Genesee Career Institute, located at G-5081 Torrey Road in Flint. Driving directions.
Registration and Cancellation Policy: Full payment due at registration. Credit and debit cards accepted. Each camp must have a minimum of 12 participants to operate, and there is a maximum of 20 participants per camp. Participant cancellations require notification two weeks prior to program start date to receive a refund. Any cancellations made less than two weeks receive a refund minus a $15.00 administration fee. Programs cancelled by Genesee Career Institute will be fully refunded.
