Welcome Alex Holton Yard Assistant Haslemere We’re pleased to welcome Alex to our Haslemere team. Alex joined us on 24 April. He was previously employed at Farm and Country as a delivery driver. In his spare time, Alex enjoys looking after his fish, playing video games and socialising. We wish him well in his new role.
Coffee Mornings Raise £504 for Broadlands Many thanks to everyone who supported our Coffee Mornings in aid of Broadlands Group Riding for the Disabled, based at Medstead (our 2017 charity of the year). All our branches held the Coffee Mornings on 7 April. As well as offering yummy cakes and a welcoming brew, we also ran sweepstakes in aid of this excellent local charity. Special thanks go to two very generous customers at our Oakhanger branch who kindly donated their sweepstake winnings to the charity, which really helped boost the amount raised. Broadlands Group RDA are delighted with your support, and following on from the success of this event, we plan to organise more Coffee Mornings on Wednesday 25 October and hope to see you there!

Alton & Bordon Branch Updates Work has been ongoing all year on the creation of our exciting new Alton branch and also on the expansion at Bordon. As these photos show, both branches are taking shape nicely, with the sales counter and mezzanine having gone in at Alton and our Bordon branch extension having gone up very quickly. We don’t have a definitive date when both branches will be completed yet, but are hoping for work to be complete in September or October. Keep your eye out on our social media channels or look out for our September newsletter for further updates.

Abbie Kinch
Headley Fun Run We were pleased to again be one of the many local sponsors of the annual Headley Fun Run on the 1 May Bank Holiday.
Key Account Manager at Haslemere Abbie joined us in September 2016 and has settled in well. Prior to coming to work at Coomers, Abbie started her career in the building trade at Jewson, Haslemere, where she had been Assistant Manager.
Four members of our staff were among 168 runners who took part in the tough 5 mile run in aid of sport in the village and other local nominated charities. Pictured below are Dave Coldicott, Nicky Thorneycroft, Tim Knight and Steve Armstrong, along with their finishing positions. Well done to them all!
Most of Abbie’s spare time is taken up playing football for Rushmoor Community Ladies, riding her horses and practicing airbrushing. Abbie lives in Bordon with her boyfriend (Steve) and dog (Gordon).
