He then ordered everyone to the floor, emptied two bank drawers and fled by vehicle through back roads to elude capture. Police tracked the suspect to his home, set up a perimeter and obtained a search warrant. The suspect was taken into custody and all the money and the gun were recovered inside. The suspect is believed to be responsible for another robbery and is looking at a minimum of 20 years in prison for firing a gun in a bank.

He was identified by police, brought in for questioning, and placed in a line up where he was identified. He is a professional bank robber and has been linked to 17 bank robberies during his career. He had just been released from prison for a previous bank robbery.
