SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION: The Greater Cleveland Police Scholarship Fund sponsors annual events, such as a charity auction and a motorcycle rally, to earn monies to make an annual scholarship possible. This award will assist students pursuing their education beyond high school. This award is available to students who qualify under the listed guidelines and are from the Greater Cleveland area. This award will be based on a point system, with each student qualifying for specific points from a checklist described on the application. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Each applicant must be a High School senior (12th Grade) and must pursue a four-year degree or better. Award must be used in the year awarded. Forfeited awards must be signed by both parent and applicant (Scholarship Form). SELECTION OF RECIPIENT: Applicants will complete all information on the application. The applicant receiving the most points from the criteria list on the application will be notified of scholarship award. In the event of a tie, a lottery will be completed from all the applicants receiving the same number of points, not less than one and not more than ten. SCHOLARSHIP RULES AND REGULATIONS: Scholarship must be used in year granted. Recipient must sign waiver and release in case of scholarship denial. SELECTION OF RECIPIENTS The Greater Cleveland Police Scholarship Fund has the sole responsibility for selecting recipients.

CERTIFICATION In submitting this application, I certify that the information provided is complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge. Falsification of information will result in termination of any scholarship granted. Failure to pursue four-year degree will terminate scholarship grant. Any paid funds shall be immediately refunded to The Greater Cleveland Police Scholarship Fund by check or money order by the undersigned. All scholarship monies will be paid directly to the College or University by the Scholarship Fund.
