Show Description The world around us is drenched with color. Color influences how we respond physically and psychologically to what we see. Color influences our mood, decision making, and attracts or repels attention. In the call for artists submissions, we want to see your creative approach in employing color. Entries will focus on an overall intriguing approach to color rather than just the use of "dynamic color.' The show will include works from a wide range of media for example: painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, digital art, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, glass, fabric, and other 3-D works. Artist Participation Only local and regional artists may participate in the Gresham Art Committee shows. Artists are limited to exhibiting in three shows per year, in addition to the Annual Juried show. Artwork is to remain in the City of Gresham Visual Arts Gallery for the duration of the exhibit. Number of submissions Artist may enter 4 pieces for consideration per show and must adhere to the Prospectus and Submission Process. Artists may submit their work for consideration via email using the contact information at the end of this GAC Art Show Prospectus and following the GAC Art Show Submission Process.
