The Board of Directors of aufeminin.com which met on 29 August 2014 approved the Group’s financial statements for H1.

Growth in all activities Despite a difficult advertising market and economic backdrop, aufeminin delivered a robust performance with strong growth in all its activities. With the integration of the company MyLittleParis, aufeminin Publishing grew 44% in the first half. Like-for-like, aufeminin Publishing experienced a 5.7% increase in activity. aufeminin Group’s Smart AdServer arm also posted growth of 9% for the first half of 2014, with the progressive increase in its RTB activity (net revenues of €251,000 over the period).

Still high profitability: 27% operating margin EBITDA, which totalled €12.8 million, was up 18% vs. H1 2013 and operating income amounted to €11.4 million, up 20 %. The operating margin remained high at 27%. As announced, the Group has stepped up investments. Therefore, operating expenses grew faster than revenues and operating income included an additional amortisation expense of €681,000 related to the acquisition of MylittleParis. With a tax expense of €3.8 million, net income amounted to €7.5 million, up 13.2%. The Group therefore generated a net profitability of 18%. The Group share of net income totalled €7.1 million, up 8%. Outlook: continuation of the ambitious expansion policy The Group plans to continue with its ambitious expansion strategy. This will result in continuing investment in H2 but while maintaining high profitability. aufeminin Publishing aims to continue its multi-device and international expansion strategy and carry out targeted acquisitions according to opportunities. Smart Adserver has ambitions to expand in the United States and accelerate the rollout of its RTB solution.
