Adventure Playgrounds FREE to use, open access and with large wooden structures where children can run, jump and climb. Children can play freely knowing that friendly staff are there to help if needed. The playgrounds are fenced in and children come and go after school, sometimes on Saturdays and during school holidays. Most adventure playgrounds have quiet places for children to read or do homework. Some have computers and after school clubs, youth clubs or a meeting space for parent and toddler groups.
