HLG awa arded QR R2.22 billlion (US$608 milllion) con ntract for cons struction n of Mega a Reserv voir PRPS S 3 – in Q Qatar The Habtoor Leeighton Group (HLG) hass been awarrded a contraact with reve enue of QR22.22 billion (U US$608 milliion) uction of Mega Reservoirr Primary Resservoir and P Pumping Stations (PRPS)) 3 for KAHRA AMAA – Qatar’s forr the constru Ge eneral Electriicity and Watter Corporattion. HLLG, operatin ng as Leigh hton Contra acting (Qataar) WLL, is responsible e for the construction n, testing and a commissioningg of 5 reservvoirs as well as pumping stations, pip pework and mechanical,, electrical, civil, structu ural, arcchitectural aand externall work for the t 100 hecctare PRPS facility f at Ra awdat Rasheed. The resservoirs, with a cap pacity of 1000 million gallons each, are the largestt reinforced concrete resservoirs in thhe world. This is the seveenth project awarded to o HLG by KAH HRAMAA. Th he Group’s first project ffor KAHRAMAA was in 20 009 uction of thee Duhail and Umm Qarn Reservoirs. The most recent contraccts awarded by KAHRAM MAA forr the constru we ere for the co onstruction o of pipelines for Doha’s M Mega Reservvoir in 2014 a and the consstruction of tthe KAHRAM MAA Central Worksh hop with a reevenue of QR351 millionn, also in 201 14. HLLG CEO and M Managing Director, José A.
