Senator Mary Landrieu, along with other former and current members of the Senate, wants to avoid such losses in the future and to ensure as much financial support as possible to Senate moderate Democrats. Our political process works best when there are more members willing to create and craft principled compromises on important issues, like tax policy, health care, education, and commerce and trade, and are willing to reach across the aisle to get this important work done. While there are many traditional conservative and liberal groups funding campaigns and supporting candidates, there are very few focused on this important group of policy leaders. Hold the Center PAC has been created to support Democratic Senators with proven records of leadership as well as promising centrist Senate candidates.
