SANTA HAT HEADBAND YOU WILL NEED: HEADBAND RED FELT SCISSORS MARKER WHITE FUR TRIM POM POM HOT GLUE GUN CARD STOCK HERE’S HOW: 1. Cut out a red circle of felt using the plate as a guide 2. Cut felt circle in half, roll into a cone and glue closed 3. Cut out 1” fur trim and glue along hat edge 4. Cut out a circle of cardstock slightly smaller than the bottom opening of your hat with a slit on each side 5. Glue cutout up into the bottom of your hat 6. Slip headband through 7. Glue pompom on top
DOGGY BISCUITS INGREDIENTS: 3 cups gluten free flour mix 3/4 cup hot water 1/2 cup organic butter 1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup powdered milk 1/4 cup peanut butter 2 teaspoons raw sugar 1 teaspoon sea salt
PREPARE BISCUITS: 1. Have an adult help with this activity. 2. Preheat oven to 325º. 3. In large bowl combine hot water, butter, powdered milk, peanut butter salt and egg. Stir together until throughly mixed. 4. Gradually mix in your flour 1/2 cup at a time. Knead your dough until it becomes nice and stiff. 5. Place you dough on a lightly floured surface, then roll out into a tubes a little less than 1/2 an inch thick. 6. Cut each piece to a length of about 5 inches. Bend the top of each piece to form a candy cane shape. BAKING INSTRUCTIONS: 7. Place biscuits on a cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. 8. Bake at 325º for 45 minutes. Time may vary depending on your oven and thickness of your biscuits. 9. Leave your biscuits in the oven for at least 20 minutes after turning it off. This will make them nice and crispy. 10. Remove and cool.
1. Have an adult help you with this craft. 2. Cut out the stocking template from this page. 3. Place the paw template on top of two layers of red felt. Use the white crayon to draw an outline on the felt. Then place the top template on top of two layers of white felt. Use a pencil to draw an outline on the felt. Repeat for the paw pad shapes and hanger. 4. Cut the red and white felt layers along the lines. 5. Lay the felt pieces out on a table and position the front and back of the ornament facing you. Overlap the white pieces at the top edge of the red by .8” (2 cm) then glue. Let dry. 6. Match up the front and back together and pin. Thread the needle with white heavy duty thread and whip stitch along the outside edge leaving the top open. 7. Attach the paw pads to the front of the ornament with glue. Let dry. 8. Fold the hanger in half lengthwise and attach it to the inside back of the ornament with an x shaped stitch.
