Holley LS Fest Grand Champion Competition Rules 1) All Grand Champion participants must compete in all segments of the event to qualify for The Holley LSFest West Grand Champion Award: a) Drag Race – 1 or more classes b) Autocross – minimum 3 laps c) 3S Challenge – minimum 2 laps d) Road Course – minimum 1 timed lap 2) Bonus points will be awarded for competing in other elements of the event: a) Poker Run – 5 bonus points 3) All drivers will be required to sign a liability waiver. Passengers must be at least 18 years of age and will be required to sign the same liability waiver as driver. No passengers allowed on the drag strip, or 3S Challenge. 4) Only official wrist banded drivers may drive the vehicle. 5) All competitors must have a current driver's license. 6) Each entrant will be issued a number, which must be clearly visible on the windshield, side windows or rear window. White shoe polish is acceptable. 7) Participants must use DOT approved street tires. Tires will be required to pass a technical inspection at the track. Street tires are defined as any treaded, non-competition tire with a 200 tread wear rating or higher. No modifications to tires will be acceptable, including shaving. Any vehicle with tires showing any evidence of modification will be immediately disqualified from the event. 8) Competitors must use a single set of tires for the entire event, no tire changing between events will be allowed. Tires will be marked during tech. Tire changes will be allowed in the event of a catastrophic failure, but replacements must be of the same manufacturer and model as those approved during tech inspection. 9) Helmet use is required during all non-highway segments of the competition. Helmet must be approved automotive style with a Snell foundation sticker of SA 2005 or later. Motorcycle helmets will not be approved. 10) All convertibles or roadsters must have rollover protection for the drag race portion of the challenge. 11) Participating cars must pass a basic safety inspection that will include but may not be limited to the following: a. Functional seatbelts. b. Proper brake pedal pressure and travel. c. Sufficient throttle return spring and secured battery. d. All lug nuts in place and tight. e. Hubcaps/clip-on center caps are to be removed. f. All loose items must be removed from vehicle. (Floor mats, things hanging from rearview mirror, cassettes, CDs, and glove box, console, trunk items.) 12) Each segment of the event will be timed to 0.00.00 (except Poker Run). A 25-point scoring system will award points based on the best time in each segment. Five (5) bonus points are awarded for the Poker Run event. The competitor with the most combined points is the winner. The fastest autocross time will break all ties. 13) Race director and event management staff will have COMPLETE discretion to deny or remove from competition anyone in the event for any reason. All decisions are final.

Poker Run Competition Rules 14) Each Grand Champion Competitor can participate in the Poker Run and receive 5 bonus points toward their Grand Champion total. 15) To qualify, each GC competitor must make all five stops on the Poker Run and receive one playing card from each stop. Route maps and addresses will be provided to all participants. The route and stops will run the full gamut of local Las Vegas locations and include city, county and freeway type roads. 16) Upon completion of the Poker Run, the GC competitor must check in at the OPTIMA scoring trailer and show all five cards to receive points. 17) GC competitors are eligible to win additional Poker Run prizes. 18) Various prizes will be awarded to highest poker hands among all Poker Run competitors based on standard 5 card poker rules. Since multiple decks will be used, it will be possible to have 5 of a kind.
