There will be two separate raffles - 100 Red tickets will be sold with three $1,000 winners and 100 Blue tickets will be sold with three $1,000 winners. The winners will be drawn at Slovenefest. ARCHDIOCESAN EVENTS Rosary Rally in Honor of Our Lady of Fatima! August 13, 2017. 3:00 p.m. Holy Family Church, KCK. Pray 15 decades of the Rosary, Benediction, & Enrollment in the Brown Scapular. 2017 Croatian Festival set for August 19, 2017. The annual St. John the Baptist Croatian Festival is set for Saturday, Aug. 19, on historic Strawberry Hill. Activities will begin after 4 p.m. Mass on the parish grounds, 708 N. 4th Street, Kansas City, KS. Admission is free. Traditional Croatian food and cold beverages will be available for purchase. CHRIST, BE OUR LIGHT! SLOVENEFEST DONATIONS REQUESTS Requests for donations of homemade Potica’s (adult wheel/dinner), small toys (look for summer clearance items), candy, and 2 liter Bottles of Soda (children’s games) would be appreciated. Our goal is 100 bottles of soda for the ring toss game Also, Team Silent Auction needs your help. Donations are needed for the Silent Auction, the various themed baskets, as well as gift certificates to various restaurants and stores. Sponsorships and Monetary Donations are also being accepted to help offset the cost of the festival. Worker’s are also needed, so please contact us to volunteer your time and talent.
