NOTICE TO ACTIVE MEMBERS OF THE JOHNSON COUNTY BAR: The 10th Judicial District Nominating Commission will soon convene to select nominees to be submitted to the Governor to fill the Division 6 district judge position with the Johnson County District Court which will become vacant in January 2015 due to the retirement of Hon. James Franklin Davis. Interested persons may obtain nomination forms from the Clerk of the Johnson County District Court or Clerk of the Appellate Court or on-line at http://www.jocojnc.org or www.kscourts.org. An original and 15 copies of the nomination form and supporting documents will be considered if received by the Office of the District Attorney, 5th Floor, Johnson County Courthouse, 100 N. Kansas, Olathe, KS 66061, no later than noon, October 24, 2014. Forms cannot be accepted by fax or on-line.
