“ON THE WAY” A short story competition
We are looking for a winning short story of up to 2000 words (not including the title) on the theme of ‘On the Way’
The competition is free to enter and open to all published or unpublished writers. The closing date is Midnight May 31st BST. All entries must be submitted as an email attachment. We accept .doc and .docx formats. Please use a readable 12-point font. All entries must be anonymous. Please include your contact details in the email and make sure your name does not appear in the story document. You may make multiple entries as long as it is all your own original work, in English, unpublished and not accepted by any other publisher or producer at the time of submission. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please be prepared to withdraw if you are placed elsewhere. Entries exceeding the 2000 word limit (not including the title) will be disqualified. The winner will be announced at the end of July. The winning and shortlisted stories may be published on Write Club The Podcast and on Facebook page and group. Copyright remains with the author. The winner’s name (or nom de plume) will be announced on Write Club The Podcast and the winner will be contacted by email to arrange delivery of the prize: an exclusive Write Club The Podcast canvas book bag containing books and stationery. The judge’s decision is final and no discussion will be entered into regarding the decision.
