For the 4’x4’, make this mark a foot below the top edge of the Barn Banner, and for the 2’x2’, make it six inches below. 2. Use a level and a screwdriver to mount the French cleat to the wall. 3. Draw a level line on the mounting wall one foot below where you want the top of a 4’x4’ Barn Banner, or 6 inches below where you want the top of a 2‘x2’ Barn Banner.

Hang the Barn Banner on the French cleat as shown here.
Align the French cleat to the mark and secure it to the wall with at least two long screws as directed above.
