HOW TO MAKE DATA DRIVEN BUSINESS DECISIONS The introduction of computers transformed businesses and organisations. Data is everywhere and is leading next phase of transformation. Companies like Google and Amazon are front runners in making data driven decisions both in terms of how they manage themselves and their customers. More and more companies strive to emulate their success. However, there are dangers in trying to copy and paste their methods and processes without understanding data science and the risks. Every decision that a manager makes involves risk taking. Organisations increasingly recognise that their decisions need to be substantiated hence the rise of data and data science in decision making processes.
