Construction of the London to Birmingham section of High Speed Two has begun and over the next three years billions of pounds worth of construction works will be tendered to the supply chain. We have appointed three Enabling Works Contractors who are currently looking for suppliers to deliver work in 2018. We have appointed four Main Works Contractors who are currently developing the core railway design and will need to secure their supply chain to start construction in 2019. You will find a list of the key services the Contractors are looking for on Page 2. If your business has any of the capabilities listed, you are invited to register your interest by Friday 30 March to meet these Contractors on a 1-2-1 basis and help deliver Europe’s largest infrastructure programme. Deadline to register interest is Friday 30 March 2018.

LM, a joint venture of Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons Limited, has been appointed to deliver HS2 Enabling Works for the northern contract area. The LM team combines worldclass experience in delivering major rail infrastructure projects, with an exceptional track record in engineering innovation, including off-site manufacturing, sustainability, employment, training and skills development.

Fusion connects the expertise, innovation and resources of three world-leading engineering businesses: Morgan Sindall, BAM Nuttall and Ferrovial Agroman (UK). In 2016, Fusion was awarded Area Central of HS2’s enabling works contracts for phase one. Delivering essential preparatory ground works to some 100km of the phase 1 route, before major civil engineering activities begin. Area Central of the phase one route is a vastly rural landscape, and to date Fusion in partnership with its existing supply chain has undertaken a wide range of surveys.
