The layout for the Morning Star Block has been adapted and influenced by the Lone Star and Ohio Star Blocks. Star blocks like these have traditional roots within Native American quilting practices and are now embraced widely by all quilters as enjoyable blocks to make.*

  Measurements & Cutting: From the background fabric cut: x4: 3.5” squares (for the outside corners) From the background fabric cut: x6: 4” squares (to be made into HSTs) From the Tulips print fabric cut: x6: 4” squares (to be made into HSTs)
