Quick Reference Guide This guide will provide you with an overview of how to create an I have a candidate request (No Supplier). It covers some of the primary features to help you get up and running fast!

How to Begin a New Request How to create a new request from scratch

Select the “Create Request” Button After signing into FLEX, you are presented with the Manager home screen. To begin your new request, you will need to locate and click the “Create Request” button towards the top left hand corner of the screen. Clicking on this button will bring you to the Request Creation screen.  Log into the FLEX Manager Home Screen  Select the “Create Request” button to begin the Request Creation Process

Select Your Request Type Next you will need to select your Request type to proceed. You will see multiple request types listed. Click on the “I have a candidate (No Supplier)” request card type to begin entering your request details.  Select “I have a candidate

(Supplier ETW)”

The Request Details Workflow After clicking on the “Request Type” card, you will be directed to enter the details of your new request.

Selecting a Job Title FLEX makes filling in the details of the role in which you are requesting simple through its real-time, “intelligent search” functionality. Managers can search for job titles by entering a partial Job Function, Job Family, or Job Code to get to the Job Title that matches to your job request, located in your job library. If more than five matching results are found, a “More” button will show under results and the “Advanced” modal screen will appear with all results. Highlight and select the desired job title, and FLEX will then prepopulate job details.

Additional Details Many templates use generic titles that may not fully capture the job's Working Title. The Project Title/Identifier specifies the project for the worker and is required.

Project Description, Sport Category Focus, Sub Sport Category, Style Number(s) and Name(s) are not required fields.

The Request Details How to enter the details of your new request

Enter the Position Details As part of the Details section of the workflow, you will be asked to enter the assignment start and end dates. you can do so in the “Position Details” section.

๏ Enter the assignment start date, end date, and total positions. ๏ Please see below section on the Work Location

๏ Select a “Reason” from the drop-down list. Additional descriptive text may be added in the field provided below if applicable. ๏ Select a Yes or No option for “Badge Required?” to alert the FLEX team to request security access. ๏ Enter “Est. Bldg Floor/Cube for ETW”, if known (optional). ๏ Select a Yes or No option for “Will ETW need NEW network access & email?:”. ***Select Yes if ETW has no current access/email.

Work Location All client locations are preloaded into the system, simply begin typing the Building Name. If this does not work, try the location street, city, country and the relevant locations will appear in a drop-down. Select the appropriate location. If the worker will be working offsite (not at a client location), check the Work Completed Offsite field. Select the appropriate country, state/province and enter the city name. 

Specify the work location using the “Client Location”/”Work Completed Offsite” fields. This drives whether facility charges are applied.

Note – If the Client Location or Country is not displayed within the system, please contact the FLEX Team for resolution.

Financial and Additional Information Selecting the financials and any additional custom information Financials You will be required to enter the Financial Details for the assignment.

๏ To charge the ETW’s time to a cost center, click Select Department to select a cost center. If the cost center is not listed, select Add New and enter the requested information. ๏ “Currency” defaults to US for NIKE, NIKE Technology, Hurley and Converse Op Units. For EHQ, please select the appropriate currency. ๏ The system will automatically calculate the Pay Rate based off the Market analytics. This may be changed as needed. ๏ Click on the Additional Cost Estimation link if you have additional areas to account for such as Tax Rates, Expenses, Bonuses or Premium Time. ๏ Select an option for “Was your need budgeted in the fiscal year plan:”. ๏ Select an option for “ETW will allocate time to:”. ๏ Enter the “Project Code” if applicable. **This field is required for NIKE Technology requests.

Sourcing Suppliers Please enter the data for the worker you wish you engage.

After proceeding to the “Custom Fields” section of the Request Creation Process, you will be prompted to supply details for an Introductory Conversation. This field is required, but a call is not. Please input “N/A”.

On/Off-Site Within the Custom Fields section of the request, specify if the worker will sit onsite at a NIKE Office or work off-site.

Contact Information This section will capture any additional contacts for the request. It is not required.

Click the “Next” button to proceed to review your Request.

Review and Finalize Your Request Giving your request a final review prior to submitting

Review and Submit Your Request The final step in creating your new Request is to review the information you entered on the “Review and Submit” page. Scroll down the page to review everything and once you are satisfied with the Request, click the “Submit” button.

Review your Request and press the “Submit” button to finalize. A member for the FLEX team will reach out to you within 4 business hours to validate your request details. For immediate assistance, please see the below contact information. Note - to edit any of the information, simply click the “Edit” link and make any necessary changes. You may also save your Request at any time and return to it later by selecting the “Save as Draft” button.
