Sir, This has reference to your letter dated 16.05.2013 requesting for extension of validity period of Terms of Reference accorded for setting up of 2x660 MW coal based Dhurvan Super TPP at village Anand, in Gujarat vide this Ministry’s letter of even no., dated 27.07.2011. 2. The request has been examined and it is informed that the matter was placed before the Expert Appraisal Committee (Thermal Power) in its 1st Meeting held during September 19-20, 2013. It is now hereby informed that in acceptance of the recommendation of the Expert Appraisal Committee (Thermal Power) and based on the information / clarification furnished by you, with respect to the implementation of the above mentioned power project, the validity period of the Terms of Reference letter issued by this Ministry vide its letter of even no. dated 27.07.2011 is now extended for one year till 26.07.2014 for submission of Final EIA/EMP reports and other requisite documents for consideration of environmental clearance. 3. It is also further informed that under para no.3 of this Ministry’s letter of even no., dated 27.07.2011, after clause no. (lii), the following additional conditions shall be implemented: liii)Radio activity and heavy metal contents of coal to be sourced shall be examined and submitted along with laboratory reports. liv)For proposals based on imported coal, inland transportation and port handling and rolling stocks /rail movement bottle necks shall be critically examined and details furnished.
