Illuminated City Illuminated City is a trail of cardboard sculptures installed in shop windows across Lancaster’s city centre. At night the sculptures light up to create magical scenes in the window displays. The trail will be on display until January 2017. Visit the shops on the map to find all the sculptures. Some are big and some are very small, so make sure you look carefully. Lancaster artists Jenny McCabe and Bonnie Craig have created the trail, along with local children and adults. Thanks to the pupils and teachers at Bowerham Primary and Nursery School and Cathedral Catholic Primary School for their drawings and help with printing the sculptures, and thanks to everyone who helped with the printing at the First Friday workshop in October. This project is supported and funded by the city centre businesses (Lancaster BID).
