CTP/2018/P/VP/020

Dear Parents/ Guardians, Thank you for attending the recent Primary 1 Back-to-School Programme and Primary 2 to 6 Networking Session. We are pleased to receive your feedback that the session was informative and had served as a useful platform to establish rapport with your child’s Form Teachers. Your active participation reflects your commitment in partnering with the school to support your child in his/ her learning journey. We also appreciate your support in ensuring that your child adheres to the school rule on uniform. We are heartened to see that our Primary 3 to 6 Clementians have taken on the responsibility to be in the right attire. It is our commitment to educate Clementians on the importance of wearing the school uniform with pride as it instills in them a sense of identity and belonging to the school. It also reinforces our school values of Integrity, Respect and Excellence. Next, we would like to bring your attention to the following administrative matters: 1. Update on the entrance / exit at Clementi Cascadia The safety of our Clementians is our priority. We have been in discussion with the Housing Development Board (HDB) and are pleased to share with you that a ‘Stop Sign’ has been erected at the entrance/ exit of the nearby residential estate, Clementi Cascadia. This traffic sign serves to regulate traffic movement as well as alert road users of possible safety hazards. If your child uses this crossing, do remind him/ her to exercise vigilance at all times. We will continue to work closely with HDB and Land Transport Authority (LTA) on the road safety measures at the crossing.

2. Lunar New Year Celebration Our school will be celebrating the Lunar New Year on Thursday, 15 February 2018. The school hours are from 7.30 am to 10.00 am. All pupils are encouraged to be dressed in their traditional costumes and white school shoes. There will be concert performances followed by classroom activities related to the festival. It will not be necessary to bring any school books that day. School resumes on Tuesday, 20 February 2018.

We wish all parents and Clementians a prosperous and healthy Lunar New Year.

Yours sincerely, Mr Chia See Chew Albert Principal

A Leader. A Keen Learner. A Friend.
