Moving beyond a narrow focus on teacher evaluation processes, Improving Student Achievement professional learning and follow-up support is designed to develop the leadership skills that result in measurable improvement in teacher effectiveness. Leaders learn how to provide meaningful, actionable feedback to develop teachers’ instructional practices with a focus on the social and emotional learning needs of teachers and students. This session also equips participants with the skills to analyze student work through the lens of rigorous state standards, ensuring school leaders have the learning data they need to coach for results.
