(ii) 10 years of experience in postgraduate teaching and clinical work in a recognized institution / hospital. 4 3) Research Assistant - 2 posts - UR-1, SC-1 Pay Band - Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 on an initial basic pay of Rs. 13500/- p.m. + Allowances Age – Below 30 years Essential Qualification: II Class B.Sc Degree in Speech and Hearing with two years experience in taking of history of cases, audiometry, speech therapy, routine testing, earmould making, maintenance of hearing aids for recognized institutes OR II Class M.Sc Degree in Speech and Hearing. 4) Speech-Language Pathologist Grade II - 1 post - UR Age – 30 years Pay Band - Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 on an initial basic pay of Rs. 13500/- p.m. + Allowances Essential Qualification: B.Sc in Speech and Hearing OR its equivalent qualification. Desirable: 2 years experience in the field.
5) Junior Technical Officer – 1 post (UR) Age – Below 30 years Pay Scale / Band- Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) with Grade Pay of Rs.2800 on an initial basic pay of Rs.11360/- p.m. Essential Qualification: II Class B.Sc. Degree with Diploma in Electronics or M.Sc. (Electronics) or equivalent. Desirable: Two years experience in servicing, maintenance and calibration of electronic equipment 6) Assistant Medical Records Officer – 1 post (OBC) Age – Below 30 years Pay Scale / Band- Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) with Grade Pay of Rs.2800 on an initial basic pay of Rs.11360/- p.m.
5 Essential Qualification: (i) Graduate with Diploma in Medical Records keeping. (ii)Two years work experience in a Govt. / autonomous organization, dealing with patient’s records. 7) Ear Mould Technician - 1 post - PH(HH/OH)* Pay Band - Rs.5200-20200 (PB-2) with Grade Pay of Rs.2800/- on an initial basic pay of Rs. 11,360/- p.m. + Allowances Age - Below 30 years Essential qualification: (a) Diploma in Hearing, Language and Speech (DHLS) or Diploma in Hearing Aid and Earmould Technology (DHA & ET) or its equivalent. *The said post is reserved for HH candidate. If no candidate is available under the HH category, the post will be filled among OH candidate.
8) Multi Rehabilitation Worker – 1 post (UR) Pay Band – Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) with Grade Pay of Rs.2400/- on an initial basic pay of Rs.9,910/- p.m. + Allowances Age - Below 25 years Essential qualification: (i) 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University; (ii) One and half year certificate course of Multi Rehabilitation worker from a Government Hospital or recognized institute; (iii) Registered as Rehabilitation Personnel under Rehabilitation Council of India Act 1992. Desirable: One year experience in the related field.
9) Driver Grade-II – 1 post (UR) Pay Band – Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- on an initial basic pay of Rs.7730/- p.m. + Allowances Age - Below 25 years Essential qualification: (i) Middle School VIII Pass (ii) Possession of valid driving license for Motor Car/Bus, knowledge of motor mechanism and experience of driving Motor Car/Bus for at least 5 years.
6 Relaxations: 1. Age limit: Age should not exceed the limit prescribed for each category of post as on the closing date of receipt of application. Upper age limit is relaxable as per GOI orders in respect of SC/ST (5 years)/OBC (3 years) for the posts reserved for these categories / physically Handicapped (10 years)/Ex-servicemen and in-service candidates (as per the GOI orders). 2. Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee is Rs.400/- for General Category candidates and Rs.100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH Categories. Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. The application fee is payable by way of cash in case the application is obtained in person or by way of DD favoring Director, AIISH payable at Mysore.
General Conditions / Information: 1. The qualifications prescribed should have been obtained through recognized Universities / Institutions. 2. The period of experience in a discipline / area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualification prescribed for the post. 3. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications for each post indicating the name of the post in each application applied for. 4. The prescribed Essential Qualifications are a bare minimum and mere possession of it, will not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received are more in response to an advertisement, it may not be convenient or possible for the institute to interview all the candidates. The Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than that of the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
