Integrated Project Delivery 1/2 Day Symposium & Networking Reception

With internationally recognized guest speaker Will Lichtig, B.A., D. Jur, Executive VP at The Boldt Company

Wednesday, April 27, 2016 Ramada Plaza, Regina SK A priority event for those wishing to learn more about this important alternate project delivery model.

Integrated Project Delivery Capital projects frequently suffer from adversarial relationships, lack of innovation, low rates of productivity, high rates of inefficiency and rework, and frequent disputes. These problems result in projects that cost too much and take too long to build. Projects also continue to injure or kill too many workers, and owners are often dissatisfied with the experience and the quality of the end product. Integrated Project Delivery (“IPD”) and Lean Design and Construction have recently emerged as potential antidotes to these ills. This session will provide an overview of how lean and IPD can be used as a structured method to counteract these basic problems – helping to better identify value and eliminate waste from project delivery. In addition to describing basic tools or methods – including Target Value Design and the Last Planner® System – this session will present case study results, including information from the first IPD project in Canada, the Dr. F. H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw. Learning Objectives    
