welcome Its that time of year again, and I would like to welcome you to the ninth annual InterAct Youth Arts Festival, brought to you by the Millennium Forum Theatre and the Youth Forum. InterAct17. As you work your way through this brochure it will become apparent that InterAct17 is once again offering an exciting, inspiring, innovative, creative and fun youth arts festival, created by young people for young people. Running over 6 days from Monday 3rd July to Saturday 8th July, we are once again giving our young people access to the best arts facilitation this city has to offer. There really is something for everyone, from Musical Theatre, Dance and Graffiti Art to Tee-Shirt Design, Music Academy and of course the ever popular West End Masterclass, all culminating this year in a new InterAct Fun Day here in the Millennium Forum, where the building will be taken over by our stars from the weeks workshops as well as other fun events and games. This year InterAct will be using the Arts as a tool to raise awareness and tackle issues around Mental Health and Wellbeing. We will provide young people with creative spaces where they can express themselves and highlight and discuss issues that affect them on a daily basis. We firmly believe using the Arts provides the perfect way to raise awareness of these issues and we will encourage the young people to open up and explore in a fun and worthwhile way. As you look through this packed brochure at all the wonderful offerings for this year I would ask that you remember all those whose hard work and support go in to making InterAct a success every year including our funders, sponsors, partners and of course the Millennium Forum staff and the Youth Forum. Without the support, guidance, hard work and dedication that these people provide, InterAct could not be the success it has been and continues to be.
