Activity 12: Interventions Worksheet 

Using your results from Activity 8 (Categorizing Behaviors), review the list of Office-Managed and Teacher-Managed behaviors provided in the grids on the following pages. If a grid does not list a particular problem behavior for your school, add it to the appropriate grid.

Together with your team, list possible administrative interventions (or consequences) across the top row of each grid (one intervention per column). For Office-Managed behaviors, list the possible interventions on the top grid. List possible classroom interventions on the bottom grid. Try to list each intervention from least severe to most severe.

Place a check mark in the appropriate boxes to align each problem behavior with each of its’ possible interventions or consequences

An example intervention grid has been provided.
