BASIC INFORMATION The Frogs Cheer Cup 2017 is a 10th competition of cheerleading and cheer dance teams organized by Šolsko športno društvo Log-Dragomer (also known as the “Frogs Cheer Team Slovenia”) and authorized by the Slovenian Cheerleading Association (SCA). The competition is international and open, thus membership in SCA is not a condition for application. We expect that the Frogs Cheer Cup 2016 will host more than 800 athletes from Slovenia and abroad (Austria, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, ect.), who will be supported by more than 700 spectators and cheer fans.

DATE AND VENUE The Frogs Cheer Cup 2017 will be held in Vrhnika, Slovenia, on the 8th of April 2017 in a sports hall of the Anton Martin Slomšek School (Pod Hruševco 33, 1360 Vrhnika).
The competition in cheer dance will be executed on the dance floor, and competition in cheerleading will be executed on the gymnastic mats.

RULES AND JUDGES The Frogs Cheer Cup 2017 will be executed according to the “SCA Competition Rulebook” which is public and can be accessed at these links: www.cheerleading.si/tekmovanja/tekmovalni-pravilniki
The competition will be judged by international judges who will be nominated by the organizers in cooperation with a SCA judging committee.

REGISTRATION AND FEE Registration for the Frogs Cheer Cup 2017 is valid when completed registration form is submitted to the organizer and when the registration fee is paid. The registration fee is as follows:
Show/exhibition performances
10 EUR per person
Competition performances
25 EUR per person
The registration fee for athletes is independent from the number of their performances (an »All You Can Cheer« principle). The registration fee for the competition includes:
right to participate on the competition free photos published on the official website of the competition memorable medals for all participants in show/exhibition performances trophies for winners of 1st to 3rd places in competition performances

The registration fee for substitutes is equal as for competitors, while for the coaches and assistants it’s determined by the “SCA Competition Rulebook” as follows: each team can register one coach and one assistant for free, while for any additional staff members the registration fee is equal as for the registered athletes teams with more than 15 athletes can register one coach and two assistants for free, while for any additional staff members the registration fee is equal as for the registered athletes each team in small divisions can register one coach and one assistant for free, and no additional staff members are allowed.
Each club can register max 2 teams in the same age category and the same division.
Deadline for submitting registration form is 19.02.2017, registration cancelations after this date are not accepted. Deadline for registration changes (e.g. team member changes) is 28.02.2017. AWARDS FOR PARTICIPANTS Competition performances Medals or trophies will be presented to athletes and coaches of the winning teams (1st to 3rd places) in all competition categories, while diplomas will be presented for places from 4th on. Additionally, all winners of Partner Stunts, All Girl Group Stunts and Double Cheer Pom divisions in Junior and Senior age categories will be awarded with free bids for Frogs Cheer Challenge 2017 (will be organized in September 2017). An announcement of competition results and award winning ceremony will follow immediately after the end of competition at the competition floor.

Froggy Cup Nastopi vseh cheerleading in cheer plesnih skupin v mini in otroških starostnih razredih All cheerleading and cheer dance group performances in Mini and Pee Wee age categories will be additionally evaluated for a special championship called Froggy Cup. The Froggy Cup will be won by a team with the highest relative score (i.e. the top percentage of possible points in the division in which the team will compete). The winner of this competition will hold the title Froggy Cup Champion and will be awarded with a memorable trophy and a sweet prize as well as with a transient trophy for an official photo shooting. An announcement of the winner and award winning ceremony will follow immediately after the end of competition at the competition floor.

Guinness world record competition Before the announcement of competition results and award winning ceremony we’ll execute the World’s highest cheerleading basket toss competition. This competition is free of charge for all athletes that compete at the Frogs Cheer Cup 2017. For those athletes, that would like to participate in this competition only, the registration fee is 40 EUR per team. The winner of this competition might become a member of the Guinness Book of Records. A current world record is 550 cm and is owned by Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation.

Cheer fans and supporters
A special competition will be organized for all spectators, supporters and cheer fans. Namely, the best cheer fan club will be awarded with a money prize of 200 EUR.

MISCELLANEOUS Hot meals On the competition day hot meals (at least 3 different menus) will be available at the official catering services provider’s booth in front of the sports hall.
Official T-shirts On the competition day Frogs Cheer Cup 2017 official T-shirts will be available for a price of 10 EUR at the organizer’s booth.
Accommodation Upon prior reservation and order, a bed & breakfast will be available for a price of 30 EUR per person for one night at facilities in Vrhnika and Logatec.
Tickets Entry fee for spectators is 5 EUR for adults, 3 EUR for kids up to 18 years, while for children under 6 years the entry is free of charge.
