ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR SENIOR COLLEGE PROGRAM A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 is expected for regular admission. All related Iona College transfer policies and processes apply, which include, but are not limited to: 1. Submission of a completed Transfer Student application accompanied by the application fee, made payable to Iona College. 2. Submission of final official transcripts from all colleges previously attended. 3. Submission of an official high school transcript and, if appropriate, official results of any Advanced Placement, CLEP, or International Baccalaureate exams. NOTE: International students should connect with Iona Admissions for additional information. Associate in Science Degree from Bronx Community College Bronx Community College graduates with the Associate Degree in Computer Science will receive up to 64 credits toward the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science at Iona College. If a student has a 2.5 grade point average for all prior college course work, the student will be waived from the Liberal Arts College Core, with the exception of required courses in Religious Studies and Philosophy. Finally, no grade less than C will be evaluated for transfer. Any student who does not meet the 2.5 minimum grade point average for a waive of the College Core, will have courses evaluated for use in fulfillment of the Liberal Arts Core and Computer Science major on a course by course basis. Total additional credits required at Iona College, minimally, to complete baccalaureate degree: 60, if the College Liberal Arts Core is waived, as charted below.
