ITS America Announces New Board Members Washington D.C. – The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) Board of Directors today elected the following new board members to three-year terms: • • • • • • •

Laurie Berman, Director of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). Berman has been with CalTrans since 1983, serving in a variety of leadership roles during her tenure. Jennifer Cohan, Secretary, Delaware Department of Transportation. Cohan’s career in state public service spans more than 27 years, and she has served as president of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Associations. Malcolm Dougherty, Senior Vice President, Michael Baker International. Dougherty has more than 25 years of transportation experience, most recently as director of Caltrans. Rebecca Hunter, Crown Castle. Hunter works in Crown Castle’s Corporate Development & Strategy group and has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of wireless deployment. Abbas Mohaddes, President and COO, Econolite Group. Mohaddes has more than 30 years of experience in the application of technology in transportation systems. Ramin Massoumi, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Transportation Systems for Iteris. Massoumi has been with Iteris since 1998 and has focused on the application of advanced technologies in traffic management throughout his career. Roger Millar, Secretary, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). Millar is a civil engineer who has 38 years of experience in transportation in the public and private sectors, including stints with Smart Growth America and the National Complete Streets Coalition.
