We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a nice long weekend. As we look ahead to 2017 an important item to highlight is the Madison Board of Education’s search for a new Superintendent. A survey has been emailed to all of us for our input on several essential questions which the Board finds crucial to the hiring process. If you haven’t had the chance to complete the survey (6 questions) please take a moment to let your opinion be heard here: Superintendent's Survey December is upon us which means it’s time for the TJS Holiday Workshop, where each child can design and decorate their very own gingerbread house. The workshop will be held on Saturday, December 10th from 9-12pm. Please take a moment to register.

We will also be collecting donations at both the Holiday Workshop as well as in the TJS office for the Madison Eagle Christmas Fund (MECF), a local charity that helps brighten the holidays for Madison residents in need. Please consider donating NEW books, school and art supplies and gloves, hats and mittens for children up to 12 years old. Lastly, save the date for the Adult Social. TJS Set Sail Into 2017 will be held on Saturday, February 11th at 7pm at the Park Avenue Club. We hope parents, teachers and staff can join us for a fun evening of dinner, entertainment, a silent auction and much more. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions, suggestions or concerns.

We will also be accepting donations for the Madison Eagle Christmas Fund (MECF) The Madison Eagle Christmas Fund (MECF) has begun its 43rd Annual Campaign collecting donated items for this holiday season to helps brighten the holidays for Madison residents in need. The Madison Eagle Christmas Fund helped 97 families and seniors last Holiday Season! The MECF solicits help every year from all three elementary schools, as well as the Madison Junior School to collect donations of NEW books, school and art supplies (such as crayons, coloring books) and gloves, hats and mittens for children up to 12 years old. Please consider donating NEW books, school and art supplies (such as crayons, coloring books) and gloves, hats and mittens for children up to 12 years old. There is a large wrapped box in the main office to accept donations. The boxes will be in the schools until December 15th. If you have any questions, please contact Kathy McGrath at 973-714-5982 or
