The governor did not declare a State of Emergency on that day. Therefore, according to state law, local school systems are required to make up the day. The school calendar has Monday, February 19, 2018 designated as a professional development day for teachers when no students would attend school. However, Pelham City Schools has designated that day as the required make-up day for the instructional time missed on December 8. All faculty, staff, and students should be in attendance at school on February 19, 2018.
