Job Description Member Support / Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Member Support / Project Manager Duties and tasks: • Member Support Manager o Analyses and follows the development of EYCA member organisations. o Creates, together with member organisations, development plans for operations and services. o Develops, delivers and analyses results of surveys of member organisations. o Designs and implements knowledge sharing and networking tools and activities. o Ensures member organisations’ compliance with License Agreements and quality standards. o Supports the Board of the Association. o Plans, designs, develops and implements internal programmes to maximise and optimise the impact of the member organisations and the whole Association. •

Project Manager o Manages international projects with European Institutions and partners. o Prepares grant proposals, manages the project and reports on it. o Coordinates EYCA’s legal and IT services. o Coordinates and maintains EYCA’s Common Cardholders Database system. o Responsible for maintaining and developing EYCA Customer Relationship Management system and activities for streamlining support to member organisations. o Event management as well as preparation of materials and content for EYCA Board meetings, conferences, seminars and other events. o Manages online sales of the European Youth Card. o Manages finances, accounting, book keeping of the Association. o Manages office petty cash.

Experience • Project management on international level with multiple stakeholders • Youth projects related to European issues and youth policy • Business management and administration • Experience in designing and managing quality improvement systems • Experience with national card development • Finances/accounting experience. Knowledge of the Exact Programme (business software) is a plus Education University degree Competences • Communicational skills in English. Other European language also an advantage • Excellent writing skills • Advance Microsoft Office skills • Analytical and creative thinking • Able to manage a complex work programme and manage others • Able to work in a small team You should: • Be highly interested in youth issues and projects • Be willing to occasionally travel in Europe, also during weekends • Be able to sign a contract for services (freelance)
