POSITION OVERVIEW The Marketing Communications (MarComms) Coordinator position is responsible for implementing the marketing and communications plans for Screenrights and its subsidiary EnhanceTV. The Marketing Department works collaboratively with business units across Screenrights and its subsidiary company EnhanceTV Pty Ltd, and is responsible for planning, developing and implementing most external communications on behalf of Screenrights and Enhance TV across a broad spectrum of target audiences—with a focus on education and screen industries. The marketing department is a team of two. The MarComms Coordinator will:

 



Work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement the marketing plan.



Coordinate the creation and updating of all Screenrights and EnhanceTV marketing collateral and communications, both in hard copy and online formats.



Maintain and monitor priorities in the MarComms WIP and calendars, working closely with department heads to ensure deadlines are met.



Coordinate writing and images for Screenrights monthly newsletter and EnhanceTV weekly newsletter, as well as liaising with staff for updates and input.



Manage the deliverables for Screenrights and Enhance TV’s sponsorship and events.



Cultivate effective working relationships with Screenrights business units.



Liaise with external agencies for graphic design production.



Work within the Brand guidelines and strategies for Screenrights and EnhanceTV.



Assist the EnhanceTV Direct sales effort in consultation with the Marketing Manager, by designing presentations, direct email, and other support material.



Promote, produce and monitor social media messages and report to Marketing Manager on social media changes and developments.

 

SPECIFIC TASKS & FUNCTIONS Content Creation • Newsletter – write, edit, create and distribute Screenrights Off the Air electronic newsletter as required (4-6 weeks), EnhanceTV weekly newsletter and some direct email communications with members. MailChimp. • Update Screenights corporate website as instructed. Drupal. • Compile Info sheets as required, liaising with department heads • Write copy as required - advertising, direct mail etc • Send messages via social media tools, monitoring results • Assist with writing articles for external publications, liaising with Public Affairs Advisor and other staff • Write scripts for videos, presentations. Coordinate content for videos with production agency. • Assist with writing draft media releases (in liaison with Public Affairs Advisor) • Manage the outsourcing of articles Marketing collateral (ads, brochures, infosheets, premium products, banners, direct email etc) • Book all advertisements, which have been negotiated by the Marketing Manager, record deadlines, and coordinate artwork with design agency. • Draft the Design Briefs. Coordinate the content with Marketing Manager, artwork with the design agency, proofing, following signoff procedures. • Coordinate production. • Liaise with Screenrights Administration for marketing collateral quantities and storage • Assist with any direct email campaigns Events • Record sponsored event deadlines and deliverables. Manage deliverables (eg. Brochures, banners and their return, advertisements, sourcing and organizing production of merchandise where necessary), with admin assistance. • Coordinate the logistics of presentations eg. Edit Powerpoint, obtain graphics. • Delegate booking registrations through liaison with Administration. • Coordinate contracts and invoices. Images & Quotes • Coordinate the sourcing of production images and quotes for the website(s), advertisements, annual report, adhoc requests. Manage the completed contracts and place details, import images into database. Contact producers for replacements or renewals. • Source other images as needed (eg. Newsletters, presentations) • Liaise with EnhanceTV team to obtain testimonials for EnhanceTV. • Image resizing. Photoshop. Promotions • Organise competitions for EnhanceTV to increase sales or membership. Source prizes, check the terms & conditions. Liaise with design agency, IT, Corporate Counsel. Market Research • Coordinate occasional surveys and edit using SurveyMonkey. Social Media • Be the social media ‘champion’. • Routinely monitor and update social media channels • Create messages Other duties as required, including: • Maintain the Marketing WIP in order to capture all upcoming MarComms activities across the business and set reminders.
