About the Business Area/Department
Xafinity Plc provides professional services to DC Schemes with combined assets in excess of £7 billion, including one of the largest DC schemes in the country. It also offers a market leading MasterTrust; the National Pension Trust. Many of the employers using the MasterTrust have branded communications, bespoked to their requirements. Xafinity’s clients range in size from employers with several hundred employees to those with over 10,000. Memberships range from individuals who first join a scheme at the start of their careers, through to those that are accessing their benefits flexibly – perhaps into their 90s or beyond. Communications should be tailored to demographic and client specific requirements.
Main duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of DC Solutions, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering joined-up proactive and comprehensive communication strategy for the National Pension Trust. Working closely with Xafinity’s consulting, administration, marketing and IT teams, responsibilities and duties will include reviewing, re-engineering and maintaining market leading: • • •
member communications (print and digital) including guides, forms, letters, newsletters, benefit statements and posters; member web based communications including interactive pensions portals, website builds and phone apps; and employer reporting including web portals, newsletters and Stewardship reports.
Some of the employers wish to implement a communications programme specific to their requirements. The ability to meet clients, understand the audience and build and develop appropriate communication strategies will be important.

Experienced DC Pension Communications Manager Strong analytical skills Experience of delivering segmented communications to different demographic groups, integrating the full range of communication channels. Has delivered communications frameworks, with all communication opportunities identified, progress to date on each, and detailing next steps. Experience of Life journey Mapping An engagement specialist Ability to manage multiple projects Organised, enthusiastic and hardworking team player First class communicator who can create great relationship with people at all levels Digitally savvy and excellent IT skills, including Adobe design software
