Lunaphore Technologies is a young start-up active in the medtech field developing a product based on a microfluidic technology to analyze tissue samples for cancer diagnostics. Lunaphore is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team for a permanent position as Sales engineer in our offices at EPFL Innovation Park and contribute directly to the development and growth of the company. We are looking for someone with strong sales and technical skills, ready to join a hard-working team, passionate about taking Lunaphore to the next-level.

Key responsibilities Establish new leads and maintain existing relationship with customers. Take part in congresses and travel to meet them. Pipeline customer leads in a CRM system and keep track of sales activities. Prepare and deliver presentations, as well as perform product demonstrations, to potential customers. Negotiate and close deals with customers. Perform installation, training, and maintenance of the products when required and train distributors’ technical support. Investigate and help clients solve problems with installed equipment. Have in-depth technical knowledge of the products, on the hardware as well as on the application side. Collaborate effectively with the customer support and technical teams in order to understand and improve the product.

Communicate effectively customers experience to the team through detailed reports and presentations. Drive for results by consistently achieving goals and pushing to complete tasks by their deadlines. This position includes frequent travelling, up to 60%.

Required profile You have 2-3 years’ experience in sales in the medtech/diagnostics/laboratory equipment field. You have a solid technical or engineering background. You like interacting with people and have the ability to build good relationship with clients quickly. You have sound judgement and good business sense. You have resilience and tenacity. You have the ability to collaborate with others by working in a team, share information with peers and managers. You are hands-on and like to solve problems in a proactive and independent manner. You demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills. You have the ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment. You like travelling. Fluency in oral and written English is a must. Additional language skills including French and German are highly desired. You hold a valid B or C permit or Swiss nationality.
