ROLE AND PURPOSE: To provide secretarial support services for the Coordinator of 504/Dyslexia and Coordinator of RTI and provide accurate information to the public when responding to calls that are received in the Educational Support Services Department.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification:  High school diploma or equivalent Experience:  Three years of educational secretarial/clerical experience or fifteen hours or more of college business courses  Excellent communication skills  Previous experience working in a school district preferred  Computer knowledge/experience (Word, Excel, etc.)  Experience working with TEAMS software MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: I. INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENT A. N/A II.

SCHOOL/ORGANIZATION CLIMATE A. Accepts phone calls for Coordinators B. Working knowledge of district policies and practices that relate to the department

SCHOOL/ORGANIZATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. N/A

IV.

ADMINISTRATION AND FISCAL/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT A. Track, calculate, generate, and input budgets; format and generate reports and purchase orders based on that information B. Input and maintain department budget, including all purchase orders and related records C. Make travel arrangements as needed

STUDENT MANAGEMENT A. Maintain district department working and archived files

VI.

SCHOOL/COMMUNITY RELATIONS A. Receive and screen calls in a knowledgeable manner in response to questions posed by members of the community or school staff B. Respond to inquiries from the public, realtors, school, etc. C. Provide the public with accurate, timely information about AISD schools

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT A. As determined by supervisor
