Bath Rugby are currently looking for bright, enthusiastic, highly motivated and energetic part time coaches to join our community coaching team. We are expanding into new areas, and are looking for passionate individuals to aid us in our delivery in Dorset. You will assist our full time coaches in the growth of the game in the community by coaching in schools, colleges and other community settings by delivering a high quality standard of coaching. It is fundamental that you are knowledgeable and confident to deliver outstanding rugby sessions that facilitate the coaching approach of Bath Rugby. Successful candidates will be required to utilise their coaching experience to build strong relationships with the areas local rugby clubs and schools. Helping to maintain our high professional standards. You will proactively utilise your coaching skill set and experience to plan and deliver valuable rugby sessions that are inclusive, fun, and educational. The role will involve working with a wide variety of age groups, so it is key that you have strong communication skills with an ability to build lasting relationships with a broad range of individuals. Essential attributes: - Full enhanced DBS check through the RFU. - RFU Level 2 Coaching. - First Aid qualification. - Proven track record and experience in coaching rugby to children in schools and rugby clubs. - Strong, assertive and diplomatic communicator. - Ability to work alone and within an organised team environment. Desirable attributes: - Safeguarding qualification. - RFU Referee qualification. - Driving licence and own vehicle. - Experience coaching with a range of age groups, demographics and abilities. - Experience of working with a wide variety of partners and stakeholders; including schools, sports clubs and national governing bodies. The position will require travel around Dorset. Due to the nature of the job the hours will vary and could be sporadic.
