Junior Achievement Makes an Impact The month of May was a busy one for programming. Here is a sampling of JA volunteers reaching the youth of Tampa Bay.

Grace Kelly Ovalles Senior Tampa Bay Technical High School Through Junior Achievement I have had many amazing opportunities. First as a 5th grader I went to the Muma JA BizTown where I worked in customer service for the Tampa Bay Lightning. As a sophomore in high school I attended STEM TEC. I loved the opportunities that I had to get certified in Microsoft programs, building cars and learning about how businesses operate. I still wish that I could do another STEM TEC program, however, my experience in the Junior Achievement Entrepreneurial Internship Academy (JAEA) was equally amazing. It enhanced some of the skills that I already had and helped me to become more professional and organized. It pushed me out of my comfort zone making me interact more with others, take on more responsibility while developing my leadership ability. In the end, my JAEA experience built my confidence up so that I will be more open to the many opportunities that are available to me.
