Lead Teaching: means you are responsible for leading Sunday School during classroom time. You may lead by: reading scripture; leading a discussion; participating in Chapel up on request; leading classroom prayer and leading classroom activity. You are expected to: • Review the week’s lesson in advance • Prepare for your part • Arrive 10 minutes early to greet children and set the room up • Coordinate and communicate with Children’s Ministries Staff upon arrival that day Support Teaching: Means you arrive 10 minutes early and help the lead teacher; no preparation required. (Similar to High School Helper but if Lead is sick, you step in!) Upon completion of the Student Teacher Training, you will have access to our online teacher sign up (Sign up Genius) You can sign up as often as possible.
