KICKSTART FESTIVAL BACKGROUND

  Presented by Propel Youth Arts WA in celebration of National Youth Week, the KickstART Festival is a massive series of events designed to spark your creativity. The KickstART Festival will be serving up an assortment of arts workshops, discussion forums, performances, live music, special events and activities from April 8 – 24, 2016. The KickstART Markets, held on 16 April 2016 from 10am – 6pm, will be the biggest event on the Festival calendar. The event is a combination of young people selling their handmade wares and youth-focused organisations holding information booths; complemented by live entertainment, interactive activities, short films and more! IMPORTANT INFO

  The marquees provided are 3m x 3m. You will be sharing this space with another stallholder. Your stall space will be 3m wide and 1.5m deep. Tables can be provided at no extra cost, but must be requested. Tables are standard trestle tables 1.8m in length and 0.75m wide. If you would like a table please mark this option in the online application form.

  You may choose to decorate your stall however you like! We encourage you to be as creative as possible, but all of your products must fit within your allocated area.

Propel Youth Arts WA will allocate you a stall for the KickstART Markets. All allocations are non-negotiable. Setup of your stall may begin at 8:30am and must be ready by 9.45am to open at 10am. Your stall should remain open from 10am until at least 5.30pm. It must be cleared by 7pm at the latest. DEPOSITS

 

All successful applicants are required to pay a deposit of $50 ($40 for Propel members) by 5pm, Monday 29 February 2016 to secure their position at the markets as agreed to in the Terms and Conditions. Deposits can be paid in cash to the Propel Youth Arts WA office and will be returned in full to all stallholders once the markets have concluded. Alternatively, you can fill in the deposit form with your credit card details and charges will only be made after the event if you fail to attend. Please note: Deposits will be forfeited if you fail to attend. ORGANISATION BIOS

 

When completing the online application form, you will be asked to provide a short bio about your organisation. The information you provide us will be used for publicity purposes and may be published on the Propel Youth Arts WA website and Facebook page.

As we’ll be promoting stallholders in the lead up to the festival on our Facebook, website, Twitter and Instagram, we encourage you to share the love and help us to promote your involvement with the KickstART Festival through your networks.
