10 a.m.-4 p.m.  Fun Games for All Ages! Kids can try their hand at fun, exciting games and activities. Paddle and plush lobster race, flying disc toss and more. Moose Park, behind the Bike, Boat & Ski Store 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  Bicycle Skills Course Bring your bike or we can provide one for you. Representatives from our Bike, Boat & Ski Store will set up a fun and challenging obstacle course where you can test and improve your riding skills. Helmets required and provided. Ages 3+. Moose Park, behind the Bike, Boat & Ski Store 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  Bootmobile Photo Opportunity Bring your camera along for a picture with the mobile version of our iconic L.L.Bean Boot. This unique bio-diesel-fueled vehicle is 13-feet high and over 20-feet long. Test your skill with the L.L.Bean Boot Toss and other fun games. Main Street Patio, Flagship Store 10 a.m.-Noon  Knot Tying There are a few key knots every young outdoorsperson should know—stop by and our experts will teach you in this fun, interactive clinic. Discovery Patio, Flagship Store 10:30-11:15 a.m.  Brent McCoy: Family Comedy Meet Brent McCoy, a wildly entertaining comic performer who looks like he just came from the construction site. In the Real McCoy Show, he combines breathtaking circus stunts with lightning fast wit for a rollicking comic experience. This ain’t just a funny guy in a hard hat, it’s the Real McCoy! 11 a.m.-1 p.m.  Pedal Power Smoothies with Coffee By Design Check out our unique bikes, specially outfitted to whip up a healthy smoothie. Try it yourself and enjoy a delicious free treat. Discovery Patio, Flagship Store 11 a.m.-2 p.m.  Meet Mary Poppins with Maine State Music Theatre “Let’s Go Fly A Kite” with Maine State Music Theatre. We’ll celebrate kids of all ages with a visit from Mary Poppins, who will meet and greet fans as they make and decorate their very own kite. Assemble a simple kite that will soar “up to the highest height”! Mary Poppins opens August 7 at the Maine State Music Theatre.

Discovery Patio, Flagship Store 11 a.m.-3 p.m.  Kids’ Face Painting Choose from several designs and have artists from Art Van decorate your face! Kids’ Department, Flagship Store Noon-12:45 p.m.  The Tardy Brothers: High Energy Juggling Featuring their own brand of relentless, sarcastic wit, physical comedy, live music and high energy juggling, Matthew and Jason Tardy have created an unstoppable performance that has audiences on their feet! Discovery Park Stage Noon-2 p.m.  Fly Tying Learn about fly-tying equipment and basic tying techniques, then tie your own “Wooly Bugger” fly and take it home with you. Best suited for ages 8 & up. 1:30-2:15 p.m.  Earth Jams with Matt Loosigian: Kids’ Music Matt Loosigian is a dynamic, spirited performer. His performances seamlessly weave messages of environmental stewardship, peace and compassion, with humor and silliness. Audiences are captivated by Matt’s contagious enthusiasm. Discovery Park Stage 2-3 p.m.  Kids and Family Yoga with Spiral Tree Yoga & Wellness Studio A fun, interactive yoga class for kids and the whole family, featuring yoga poses, activities, songs and relaxation. Space is limited. Mats will be provided. Main Street Patio, Flagship Store 2-4 p.m.  Crafts for Kids with Local Artist Julie Yeo Have fun creating your own bubble wand with various materials. Moose Park, behind the Bike, Boat & Ski Store 2-4 p.m.  Geocaching—A Great Family Activity We will provide you with a GPS unit and the coordinates to a series of geocaches to help you explore our Freeport Campus.
