King Open is Moving! Students should report to 359 Broadway
Monday, February 22, 2016 During construction of our new school, the King Open community will temporarily relocate to the school building at 359 Broadway, which is located in Mid-Cambridge, across the street from the Cambridge Traffic & Parking Department. Our school will remain in this location until August 2019. Building preparations are underway. The CPS Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Department was relocated out of the building in December, creating more space for our classrooms. More details are coming soon including: • Bus routes, walking maps, and MBTA inforation • Transition activities including building tours • Arrival, dismissal, safety procedures
WALK or TAKE THE BUS? Soon you will receive a YELLOW envelope containing your child’s transportation eligibility letter. Some students will no longer be eligible for the bus, while others will be newly eligible. Bus routes will be finalized soon.
