One day sustainability check and support One of our team will visit your institution to assess its sustainability performance. This will include a tour of your site to: • identify areas of risk and non-compliance with environmental legislation; • look for areas that could be improved as well as examples of good practice that can be promoted. We will carry out a detailed check to establish the institution’s current level of sustainability performance in areas such as: ENVIRONMENT This will cover areas such as energy, water, transport, waste, land management, environmental policy and procurement. ECONOMIC Areas such as institutional practice in relation to the ethical standards policy and ethical procurement will be covered. SOCIAL The institution's policies in areas such as social communication, discrimination, freedom of association and collective bargaining will be addressed. CURRICULUM We will also address sustainability in the curriculum. We can provide solutions for embedding the principles of sustainable development into the curriculum. Report and action plan The findings of the site visit will be summarised in a report, which will include an action plan containing guidance and targets for improvement. Carbon footprint We will provide you with a carbon footprint, using our leading-edge software, which you may also wish to use to measure, manage and report your institution’s other sustainability metrics.
